Permanent teacher

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1976), master’s degree in Sound And Vibration Studies from the University of Southampton (1978) and phD in Machinery Noise from the University of Southampton (1982). He is currently a full professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. He has experience in Mechanical Engineering, with emphasis on Solid Mechanics. Acting mainly on the following topics: Machinery Noise, Structural Damping, Noise Control.
