Júlio Apolinário Cordioli
Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) in 2000 and phD in Mechanical Engineering from UFSC in 2006. Part of his doctorate was carried out with the University of Cambridge – England. Worked as a noise and vibration engineer at EMBRAER (2000-2001) and as a researcher in numerical methods applied to acoustics and vibrations by ESI Group – USA (2007-2008), where he was also responsible for the development of VA One software. In 2009 and 2010 he served as Visiting Professor with the Department of Mechanical Engineering of UFSC, where he is currently a permanent professor. His main interests include: numerical methods in acoustics and vibrations; noise and vibration analysis in aircraft; hearing aids, piezoelectric transducers and underwater acoustics.
